VOORWOOD MODEL L79B END FINISHER

The End Finisher precisely cuts to length, and then sands both ends of MDF parts to remove the protruding fibers, which prepares the surface for finishing.  The transfer finish is then applied completing the one-pass process.

The positive feed system ensures accurate machining and finishing.  As parts are fed past the workstations, they are clamped securely between the bottom lugged chain and the top holddown belt.

The frame is of rigid steel construction.  Specially selected alloy steels are used throughout.  Rotating components are dynamically balanced and electronically tested for vibration after final assembly.

An applicator wheel with automatic heat control applies the transfer finish.  The End Finisher is a production-oriented machine designed for reliability and operator convenience.  Set-up time is kept to a minimum by many special Voorwood features.

(1) Will foil a 1-7/8 inches face width.

(3)  Length: 6 inch minimum to 80 inch maximum.

FEED

(1) Feed system operates at a variable speed of 0-10.5 fpm.

(5) Bottom chain with “pop-up” lugs, lug to lug spacing is 3 inches (7.62 cm). Maximum part width between lugs is 1” (2.54 cm).

SCORING, BOTTOM

(1) Single high-speed arbors.  Accepts 4-inch diameter blade.

(2) ¾ hp motor rotates arbor at 5000 rpm.

(3) Fully adjustable

Applicator Stations:                     (a) Each side furnished with one station.

Film Take-up:                               Carrier film rewinds with automatic tension control. Stripper rollers for precision trimming on edges.
